I am Kavitha Paramasivan. I make the designs you see here. I am a designer of all sorts of things. I have a career as a graphic designer for print and web, and I love making things. Trained as an artist and designer, I studied fine arts, art history, and media production, and have worked in Oxford for ten years before moving to Bristol. With so much creativity and art happening here, my love for the city and the crafts has taken me on an incredible journey, making and designing things I love.
As a surface pattern designer for avikadesigns, I am passionate about designing bespoke scarves and fabrics. As a maker-designer, what you will see here is an extension of my work for Avika Designs, and I’ll be adding more of my hand made works here. I speak more than one language, and I sometimes dabble with words combining many languages – and use them in my designs.
I hope you all enjoy seeing my works, and do ask me if you want anything personalised and custom made for your children, or yourself. I love a challenging creative brief, and I don’t usually say no!
