Description
An abstract rendition of a face-like vase, this is my experiment in unique shapes, glazing techniques using rough and glossy textures, and material. The finished piece has an outer glaze with an antique finish to it, and some unexpected colours on kiln firing at 1200C, appearing almost like a blackish-greyish-blue. The colour varies with angles, hence the many photos in sunlight. It can make a great gift, or a display piece as a conversation starter!
